I am the left brain. I am a scientist. A mathematician. I love the familiar. I categorize. I am accurate. Linear. Analytical. Strategic. I am practical. Always in control. A master of words and language. Realistic. I calculate questions and play with numbers. I am order. I am logic. I know exactly who I am.
I am the right brain. I am creativity. A free spirit. I am passion. Yearning. Sensuality. I am the sound of roaring laughter. I am taste. The feeling of sand beneath bare feet. I am movement. Vivid colors. I am the urge to paint on an empty canvas. I am boundless imagination. Art. Poetry. I sense. I feel. I am everything I wanted to be.

She’s gone and gotten herself engaged! Its been quite the crazy week. Last Friday is when her boyfriend, Josh, proposed. It was totally unexpected because we all thought he was going to do it on Saturday when his family and her’s went out together. Turns out that Saturday was the engagement party. We all got dressed up and went to a country bar to do some dancing! It was so so much fun!
I am still kind of in disbelief. I didn’t even think that this day was going to come until years down the road. But it has been exciting looking at venues with Lyndsay and picking out colors and starting the making of her engagement announcements. It’s going to be difficult once the fall semester of school starts up because I’m going to be states away at college, but somehow we will make it all work out and I will hopefully still be able to fulfill my maid-of-honor duties.
Lyndsay is pretty overwhelmed at this point. I don’t think she realized how involved wedding planning is. She tries to do a lot at once, but she’s got a little more than a year until the wedding and I keep having to remind her to take it slow and just do things one at a time. But she is very excited and ready to get married to her wonderful boyfriend!
